Twitter Traffic Machine Review – Am I Gonna Get Followers and Make Money?

July 31, 2009 by Melanie

The Twitter Traffic Machine is a fairly new program available to you online that is supposed to enable you to generate traffic and create a following for you on Twitter. Twitter is fast becoming one of the fastest growing micro blogging networks on the web and this machine is going to help you so the advertisement states. Are you asking yourself: Is this another program that costs me a bunch of money to get set up? The answer is no as this program only costs you $27.

Twitter traffic machine is an actual automated machine that actually does just what it says it does. I thought I would give it a try and after watching the five instructional videos teaching you to maximize traffic and generate the most followers to your posts. It is very well done and thought out as I am a little bit behind the times when it comes to understanding how certain things work on my computer and the step by step instruction was a very pleasant surprise. Believe it or not some programs out there just show you a platform and say go, not teaching you anything but just showing you a base plan. Not here as I was easily guided through the whole process beginning to end.

My first day I started at 22 followers. After using the steps provided in the course I woke up on day 2 and had 174 followers. When I got home on the night of day 2 I had 286 followers. I am now at day 6 and I have 1214 followers. I am telling you now that if you do indeed follow the instructions from beginning to end and do not compromise any of the program by skipping a step you will get the kind of numbers you are looking for. Twitter traffic machine in my opinion is well worth the small investment if you are looking for followers and the possibility of making money while you tweet away. $27 is basically a night at the movies and I would trade that night out for the possibility to earn big steady income from home anytime.

Now there is a lot more this program has to offer but overall the Twitter Traffic Machine is a great program which will help open doors for you that you didn’t even know existed and enable you to get your product out there. for more information on Twitter Traffic Machine System and other programs like this look here.

MLM Internet Business – Twitter Introduction

Twitter Birdie

Twitter is a relatively new tool that can be used (in a specific way) to assist in building your MLM Internet Business. This tool can be used to create a large list of followers, some of whom may become your friends, customers or business partners. In this article, we discuss what Twitter is, and introduce you to the concepts behind using Twitter for your business.

You might be wondering what Twitter is? It’s called a micro blogging tool, which means it is like blogging, but you write very small messages each time. It’s also different from a blog because when you write a post on a blog, that post (if it’s public) is displayed on your blog’s web page for anyone to see. With Twitter, your short message is available on a twitter page, as a “Tweet”.

Those who use Twitter usually have an application they use to see the tweets of those they are following. You follow people within your area of interest, and others follow you. Your followers (and anyone who searches on a word that appears in your message) will see the message you “tweet” on Twitter. When you follow people, you will see messages they write.

Most applications that make Twitter more friendly consist of a page on your computer screen, with small pictures of the faces of the people you are following. Next to each person’s face, is the message he or she has typed. If you click on a little symbol on the person’s face, you can type a reply which all your followers can see. In addition, you can send a direct message to one of your followers, which only that particular follower will see.

If you build a large list of followers, you have more people who will see your message, and the chances of you meeting someone interested in your product or business opportunity are higher. We recommend having separate Twitter accounts, one should be relevant to some problem your product can solve. For example, if you market a nutritional product for dogs, then have a twitter account that “tweets” about dogs and healthy stuff they can eat. If you have a blog about nutrition for dogs, you could  send a tweet each time you make a blog post.

The other twitter account for your  MLM Internet Business could be about you and you could tweet about stuff you are doing, so your followers can get to know you. It’s a good idea to tweet whenever you write an article or a blog post or create a video, which has some educational value.

If you treat your Twitter followers nicely and provide them with educational content, they will start to like you because over time, you will earn their trust and prove to be a very credible resource. And, if you follow them, and help them get what they want, without asking for anything in return (that’s a very important part of having a large following), you will start building a relationship with some of your following. Many followers will then read your blog posts, and many of those will purchase what you are selling.

To summarize, Twitter is a tool used to build thousands of followers. If you provide educational content to your followers, this list will be a valuable resource for your business, both for selling products and your business opportunity. Treat your followers nicely and give them educational content, so they grow to trust and respect you. Once you learn to use Twitter as a relationship builder, you will have a lot of fun, and it will assist you to build a large MLM Internet business.

How to Boost SEO With Twitter

Twitter Business

Twitter Business

Of course, it’s certainly no closely guarded secret that to get more web traffic to their sites, many internet marketers have been taking advantage of Web 2.0 technologies in order to boost SEO. In fact, this couldn’t be more apparent than it is with blogs and social networking sites.

However, in more recent times, many marketers are becoming heavily involved with Twitter. Of course, one could argue that Twitter does in fact fall into the same category as social networking, but the difference is Twitter is unique in that it’s a micro-blogging service as well. If you’re currently involved with internet marketing and you’re also considering taking advantage of Twitter in order to boost SEO, then you’d be well advised to look at some of the problems and challenges faced by fellow marketers.

A Big Challenge Awaits New Users

One of the first things new users need to realize is, you have to start off slowly, in much the same way as you no doubt started out with other social networking sites. First and foremost, you need to become a follower of all the other Twitter members that you’ve become acquainted with via other networking sites. If all goes according to plan, they will return the favour as such by following you as well. As you more than likely already know, if you want to improve your rankings, you need to have as many followers as possible.

In Twitter, Shared Link Have “No-Follow” Attribute

One of the most discouraging aspects of Twitter is that when somebody clicks on your link, it has absolutely no effect on your page ranking. However, there is no need to throw in the towel because of this. Instead, you can post rewritten URL’s with the necessary keywords on the link which will of course ensure they are discovered by the various search engines.

Character Limits in Twitter

Essentially, you need to pay close attention to two numbers in Twitter. The first number is 30, and this is the character limit for live links. The second number is 140 and this in turn is the overall character limit for each message. While it simply isn’t possible to get around the 140 character limit, there are a few workarounds with regards to the 30 character limit for URL’s.

For example, many marketers now make use of sub-domains on their sites in order to point to their longer page. For the most part, sub-domains are easy to customize for free and what’s more, there’s a good chance that you’ll be able to squeeze in a few words within the character limit. Likewise, some savvy marketers are also using dummy blogs which have similar content, but which link to the page they are wanting visitors to see.

The Importance of Keyword Research

As many marketers can attest to, Twitter can be painfully tough if you limit yourself too severely with regards to the keywords you use. However, because Twitter has such a phenomenal page ranking, the use of keywords is vital. By doing adequate research for the ideal keywords, you’ll be able to tap into a potentially endless supply of traffic.

Of course, Twitter is more beneficial to some than it is to other. This of course depends on what product or service you’ve chosen to promote but even if Twitter is not the ideal tool for you, you can still use it to your advantage, even if you only use it to ensure your site gets listed on the search engine results.

Blogging and Twitter

Blogging is becoming a preferred method of making money from the internet. It is, put very simply, a platform that allows you to update your site easily, without having to mess around with FTP or Cpanel or similar programs.

The search engines favour sites that are updated regularly, and often, as they are considered to have more relevant information than a static site. It is good to have your site favoured by the search engines because more searchers (potential customers) are directed to your site.

Twitter is a form of blogging, which only allows postings of 140 characters, or less. A post is called a tweet. It has become very popular as a social tool. Many celebrities are using it to show their popularity and probably as a free form of advertising.

As Twitter increases in popularity, more and more people are joining. It is free to join and they don’t mind you advertising your business or site. They do have some rules, mostly to do with fair use and not doing anything to damage the site, but their rules are very fair.

To get the most out of your Twitter account you would use it to advertise your blog site. The best method is to use a teaser. You partially describe what you’re selling, giving the audience good reason to want to know more. You then direct them to your blog site for the full story. You have to be pretty inventive as you only have 140 characters to use for each tweet. It’s almost like writing an AdSense ad.

Some advertisers give away a free gift or enter you into their competition for retweeting their message. Retweeting a message just means that you are passing it on to anyone who looks at your twitter page, or subscribes to your tweets. This is incredibly effective as it quickly is spread to many people. This is called ‘going viral’.

Using Twitter with your blog is an incredibly effective advertising method and the best thing is that it is free.

Twitter Tips – How to Create an Interactive Twitter Following

July 19, 2009 by Melanie

Twitter is getting more and more popular but unfortunately, more social media “leeches” are getting in to abuse the system and try to make money with it. Twitter’s meant to be a way for people to connect with each other and in this article, I’m going to show you how you can create a real following instead of being like the leeches who don’t do anything except try to sell.

1. Create More Open Tweets

Chatting in Twitter is called “tweeting”. So when you have an open tweet, you use “@(the person’s twitter account name) (message)”. By using that, you send a message to that person. Direct messages (DMs) are tweets sent in private – you can do that by using “D (person’s twitter account name) (message)” – but take note, you can only send direct messages when the other person is following you.

2. Ask Open Ended Questions

Try not to ask something like true or false questions, yes or no questions. Ask really open ended ones like “What do you think of (whatever)?” or “Who else thinks that (whatever)?”

When people see that, they can answer it. People who try to sell on Twitter like to ask questions like “How to make money? (link)” or “I make money easily using this! (link)” – avoid stuff like that at all costs.

If you have to send people to a site for selling something, please do it privately.

3. Jump In On Other Twitter Conversations

The great thing about Twitter is that you can actually communicate with other Tweeple on Twitter. When someone is discussing about your favorite author, for example, you can jump in and tweet about it.

Use the trends in Twitter to find out what’s hot on Twitter and to make more connections. You can find some really interesting people when they start talking about the trends on Twitter.

Not to mention since Twitter is so interactive, you can easily find up-to-date information by asking around what’s going on and why is there a certain trend that’s hot. Tweeple will tweet you the answers really quickly.

Hope you’ve enjoyed this article. This is an article that I have written for people who like to use Twitter to create real, meaningful relationships with other people.

Connecting With People on Twitter and Facebook – How to Use Social Networking to Enhance Your Life

July 16, 2009 by Melanie

Connecting with others on Twitter is good for so many reasons. I work full time on the internet, but I am also active in my local community. I have met many new people while tweeting, and I usually end up meeting them in person if they live nearby. So while my primary focus is on meeting new prospects and joint venture partners, meeting people who live close by is also important to me.

Today our speaker at my Rotary Club cancelled at the last minute. I am in charge of arranging programs right now, so I had to think quickly about what to do. I have a large following on Twitter, so I sent out a tweet asking if anyone was available to come and speak. Within five minutes I had five responses. My first choice for a speaker arrived at our club two hours later, in plenty of time to speak to the group on her topic.

The point I am making here is that you can use social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter or a variety of reasons. Don’t allow yourself to think that you can only use them for what you have always been doing. Use some creative thinking and ideas to see how else you can benefit from connecting with other people online.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing you have always done and expecting a different outcome. I challenge you to come up with some new ways to use social networking sites to do more business, help your community, or to make a difference somewhere in the world. Even though most of us are online to do business, business is just one small part of who we are.

Twitter Read

Twitter is one of many social media platforms available online. Yet, it has received a tremendous amount of attention in recent months, as it seems that every celebrity, media outlet and business owner is utilizing Twitter in one way or another. Millions of people are beginning to capitalize on the many business opportunities that Twitter profiles present. Are you going to be one of them?

What is Twitter? Twitter is a social media outlet that allows users to stay connected in real time. The platform began in 2006, although it was not until the past 12-18 months that the quantity of users and national/international recognition began to take off. One of the reasons that users love Twitter is that the platform is simple. Instead of allowing users to build elaborate profiles, Twitter centers around simple, short postings that are shared with members, the entire Twitterverse and a member’s list of followers.

While users can customize the look and feel of their Twitter profiles, the overall gist of the platform is simplicity. Users can share thoughts, ask questions, share information, post external links, share personal comments and more. These short posts, or Tweets, can be added online, from your mobile phone and by using other social media applications. While the social media outlet began as a simple way for individual to communicate, it is now a popular marketing tool used by businesses large and small.

Twitter and the Rest of the Social Media World One of the best things about Twitter is the ability to integrate it into your other social media profiles. For example, Facebook offers a Twitter application. Whenever you make a Twitter post, it is shared with your Facebook friends. Almost every major social networking website offers a similar application option. You can add Twitter feeds to all of your social media profiles, your company website and your blogs as well. By connecting all of your online worlds together, you are increasing your overall marketing opportunities. Every social media platform has its place online.

The key is integrating them all seamlessly so that your marketing workload is reduced. Just like everything online, Twitter has evolved. If you have not already joined the other Twitter users, now is your chance. Take time to learn about the platform, how to set up profiles, how to post information and which type of information you should include in your posts.

To Twitter Or Not to Twitter That is the Question? Or Better Still – How to Twitter

July 10, 2009 by Melanie

In my previous article on Twitter I focused on the advantages of Twitter as a resource tool and some of the ‘cool’ products you can use to gain productivity. But many people have asked why bother twittering either from a social networking or business point of view. But first let me explain what twitter is; first and foremost it is a free social messaging utility for staying connected in real-time. It is not an eBay nor is it a place for direct article or product marketing.

It is a place to build your social network through interesting tweets and the place to sell your products through subtle headlining using the art of subconscious influence. So the main reason to join is that you want to influence, make friends and expand your business. Here is a brief list of other reasons why you should twitter and what you gain from doing it!

Reason 1: Twitter is a great tool to practice headlining since you have only 140 characters per update. This really makes you think what you want to say and how you want to say it. Think about it, you only have a few words to get your point across and get them to click your link to your website or to reply to you. This makes Twitter fertile ground to develop your headlining capabilities either to attract people to your social network and/or to develop your advertisement skills all in real time!

Reason 2: Do you know how to get across who you are in 140 characters? The ‘Bio’ section only allows you 140 characters. This really helps you focus on being brief about who you are and why people should want to get to know you or why to buy from you. This ‘Bio’ and the quality of your tweets is the key to your success and influence on twitter which nicely dove-tales with the next two reasons.

Reason 3: Similar to bygone ages where tribes or clans used to exist to give like minded people protection or common reasons for staying together, twitter with its following concept is very much like the tribe or clan. People follow you because they like what you have to say and how you say it (or what you ‘tweet’ in twitter language). This provides you with the opportunity to develop your influencing (leadership) skills from either a business or social perspective. People want to follow someone they trust and respect, its human nature and many, many people want to be lead. So here is a great opportunity for you to brand yourself whilst developing your leadership, a win-win situation!

Reason 4: You can turn followers into perspective buyers without the headache of mailing lists. Instant list building with like minded people, wow what a concept, now you instantly have targeted traffic with potentially high conversions! From a social networking point of view you can quickly meet like minded people allowing you to expand your sphere of influence into a huge resource pool of ideas.

Reason 5: Kenneth Wu (email copy writter on twitter) has developed his sparks theory that when you put like minded people together and under the right conditions you can get an explosive growth of ideas that has huge marketing potential. He also states Twitter through social networking can provide the platform for change, both of which positions you as a ‘mover and shaker’. You gain incredible influence and respect both across the business and within social networks.

Reason 6: Twitter works similarly to the human mind, namely in short sharp bursts of focused interest. Most people enjoy variety and can quickly scan across tweets to find their areas of interest without wading through masses of text. Use this human concept to build your influence and show the breadth of your understanding in your or any ‘field’ of human diversity and interest. Unlike other social networks twitter has huge diversity, a brilliant place to try out new and untested ideas quickly.

Reason 7: Informal setting, like a golf club membership, you can make deals, joint ventures and strategic alliances in an open and safe environment. As you build your tribe, clan or membership you have a trusted set of allies willing to work with you and so are more open to deals social or business.

Reason 8: This is a great tool for basic market research. Twitter itself tracks trends but additional tools like tweetdeck, tweetbeep, tweetlater and many others all help you manage the vast source of new and emerging needs.

A last point, one of caution, it is very easy to waste a lot of time on twitter if you do not have a clear strategy or reason for using twitter. If you use it as social networking then make sure your tweets are of interest to your tribe. If you are using Twitter to expand your business then make sure you use subtle advertising and do not over tweet your products. Kenneth Wu has a great course on twitter that shows you how to use twitter to your benefit. You can find this course on either of my web sites listed below.

I hope you found this article of value and you will join me on Twitter. My username on Twitter is simonsayzzz and I would love it if you join, and send me a message and say hello. I do not think you will be disappointed especially if you are looking for people to meet and you are like me, hate writing long winded hellos! And if you are sparked with what I have to say then follow me on twitter and you may find what you are looking for on my websites, you will find my sites unusually constructed, hopefully interesting. Hope to hear from you on twitter and do say hello to Kenneth Wu!

Twitter – List Building Made Easy

July 7, 2009 by Melanie

Between blogging and social networking sites, there are lots of opportunities for businesses to stay connected online. Twitter, for example, is a free micro blogging site that people use to share thoughts in 140 characters or less. Many businesses are using Twitter to stay in touch with clients and give them updates about their business. Another way you can use it is to help you with list building.

Getting started*

The first thing to do, of course, is sign up for a Twitter account. It’s quick and easy (and free) through their website. It’s also a good idea to use your business email when you register so any email updates, such as new followers, come to your business email account. Once you have your account, you can start tweeting (submitting Twitter posts). Though you’re limited by 140 characters or less, you can use Twitter to give news and information about your business, directing readers to your business’s website for more information. Be sure to post often, since many people who use Twitter are frequent readers and tweeters.

Utilize your profile*

With Twitter, you’re given 160 characters to use as a bio of yourself or your business. This is an under used aspect of Twitter that can also help your business. When you create your bio, be sure to include the purpose of your business, or a way for potential clients to contact you outside of Twitter for more information. If changes are made to your business, update your profile. It’s yet another way for people to know what’s going on in your business.

Contact new followers right away*

As you use Twitter, people will begin to follow you. This means they’ll see your updates on their own Twitter home page for easy reading. When you get a new email notification that someone is following you, be sure to send them a direct message through Twitter, thanking them for following you, introducing your business, and giving them any contact information they need. They’ll appreciate it, and it gives them another point of contact.

Though Twitter was created as another blogging technique, it has developed into a great tool for businesses. And with a few simple steps, you can use your tweets to list build and grow your business!

Twitter For Your Business – How to Get Started on the Right Foot

Twitter Bird

Twitter Bird

Twitter is a social media platform perfectly in line with what we want, “simple, fast, and easy”. Using just 140 characters and nothing else, we all know exactly what we’re getting. A tweet is simply a short, concise, direct, easy to read “blurb” that provides insight to something bigger and better. From a business perspective, each tweet is an opportunity to sell you, your company, your product or service.

So, how do you effectively use Twitter to promote your business? Well, like so many things out there with internet marketing, there is not just “one way” to do it. For the sake of conversation lets break this down into two categories: direct and indirect advertising.

As a new person, small business, or large company the first step will be an indirect approach. By indirect I mean you are NOT going to start sending tweets about your company or products right away, just the opposite. You are going to build your reputation and start to learn the ropes by being a good listener. As you get involved and gain followers and start following others, you will start to read the tweets and learn the tricks that will actually build you and your company up in a positive light. This is an important step.

Some simple ways to build a likable personality on Twitter is to provide useful information or insight. This could be a link to a newly released report (on a topic that is within your field), or a great article, maybe a reference to a good book or good product. Really, you want to provide value to others, so they see you as someone they trust and in turn this will increase your chances of working with them later on down the road.

Once you start to get the hang of how things work by participating, providing value, and listening to what people are saying it’s time to take it to the next level. Your approach can become a bit more direct. Now when I say direct, I’m using this term very loosely.

I don’t want this to become a lesson in internet marketing, but often times companies or small business entrepreneurs will have a blog that they push traffic to. The purpose of the blog is to provide additional detailed information about the company, product or services in a non-invasive way. Again, this is based on the philosophy that when you provide value, people will trust you and in turn want to work with or partner with you. Pretty basic, but what seems to happen sometimes is we get so excited about the “potential” sale that we end up smothering our prospects. This is a sure turn off for any potential customer.

So, a great strategy is to tweet about new blog posts on your business blog or company blog and include the link. Let’s say you just wrote a blog post about how to use Twitter effectively for your business, you could tweet: “Want to learn how to effectively use Twitter in your business?” – then include the link. This will drive traffic to your blog, which acts as the first step in the sales process. Now, just sending prospect to a blog is not good enough, you must take the time to craft your blog in a specific way that all visitors know what to do “next”…have a call to action on your blog! That is a topic for another article…back to the topic at hand.

Always remember, Twitter never sleeps and it is constantly moving. Because of this, we have the opportunity to test often. Testing your results on Twitter will help you to recognize the actions that are actually helping your business, and also eliminate the actions that are not producing results. Trust me, you don’t want to overlook the value in tracking. A great tool that will shorten your URL and also track how many people are clicking on your link is called TR.IM and you can visit this site by going to

Take the time to get familiar with Twitter so you can develop a solid strategy that will work for you and your business. Build your reputation and work on gaining as many followers as possible by providing useful information in your tweets. It will not be long before you are driving tons of traffic to your sites with the use of this simple yet satisfying social networking tool.
